Playstation Contoller Not Connecting? Try THIS!

A weird bug that happens sometimes is that your controller may disconnect indefinitely if it's being charged via a different source (like a USB outlet or PC). A prolonged amount of time like this could "hardset" the controller and it won't be able to sync back with the console. If this happens, your best bet is pressing the reset button on the back and turning your PS4 on with the PS button via the controller while they're connected.

It happened to me while I was in the middle of a game and was forced to restart. Frustrating, but thankfully nothing was actually wrong with it.

Nothing is working one of my controllers is charging but when I try to turn it on it just flashed a light blue for a short while then just charges

For anyone having the issue that the USB cable is charging the controller but not connecting it to the ps4, you just have to try different USB cables until one of them works. It took me about 3-4 different cables until one of them worked.
