This was literally the first thing I tried and didn't worked. I tried then resetting the console, unplugging the console, turning the controller on and off again, twice. Eventually I searched online, reddit told me to hit it really hard and that made the charm.

Fixed my issue, in game. But then I went back home, then to Hulu. And same issue. Unresponsive. Did the trick and it’s working. I just hope it doesn’t make me do this every time I go to a different app or game. I also updated my PlayStation before I found this video which didn’t fix the issue smh. But either way thanks for the video bc I can now at least manage. For now.

didn't work for me so i went to the comments and Jshotem said that if a button on your controller is stuck down you need to unstick it before entering the game and that worked for me

Is there a permanent way to fix this? Just got a brand new controller from controller chaos and it does this on every app and every game.

i was really nervous i thought it was broke and was so sad plus i havent been able to watch scary movies on normal screen in days i so appreciate this help
