Never in my life have I seen French toast without cinnamon!

I add a little bit of cinnamon, vanilla, and a sprinkle of sugar or brown sugar to crystalize and help brown the toast. When you plate the french toast, spread on some butter and it'll melt at which point sprinkle some cinnamon sugar.

My Ma made hers with two eggs, pinch of salt, milk and flour to give the batter some texture. She fried the slices of bread in a bit of bacon grease for added flavor. To her recipe I added a capful of vanilla.

This looks really good, when I make it I like to add brown sugar and cinnamon as well and then finish it with butter and jam. Everyone makes it different.

I added sugar instead of salt, added some vanilla extract, added tons of sugar and cinnamon once in the pan, SO GOOD

Ok so I did all of that but added cinnamon but this was my first time ever and holy crap it was soooo so so good. Thx for the recipe because I’ve been dying to make some but didn’t have a good recipe in easy steps. Ty

Honest rate on this recipe: l tried this today and also l added sugar too and it was alright. Since it was my first time eating fresh toast it really didn't have any taste on it it felt like if l was eating bread with an egg. But at the end just before eating l topped with pinch of sugar and the other l topped with pinch of chaat masala. And it was alright but it will give u an soar throat soo don't drink any cold juice or any other fry stuff 😊
