It was the WORST thing I've ever been through. When you can no longer trust your own thoughts or intuition and you second guess your entire reality because someone else is telling you that the true reality isn't real but their reality is and you start to believe it. It's just HORRIBLE and takes a LONG time to deprogram yourself and to start to trust yourself again. Takes a lot of therapy and healing.

20 years... Took me that long to figure out what was going on with me. Why I was completely exhausted, filled with anxiety, couldn't make decisions, started to have health issues... my (now) ex had me so filled will fear and anxiety that I couldn't think for myself. I would hear his voice in my head even when he wasn't there, and based everything on what he would do or what he wanted. I am so thankful I had a few very good friends who saved me and snapped me out of this so I could get out and also help my two kids who were going through abuse as well. Freaking terrifying what a narcissist can do to you. It's going to take me and my kids years of trauma therapy to overcome the PTSD we have.

I learned this a long time ago, when I was a little boy. I was brainwashed by my mother, I thought that since she was my mother she had my best interest in mind. Not the case, once I got old enough to start realizing what was happening, things got violent, and very quickly. Then came the gaslighting, once I was able to know the difference between moral and immoral, I started thinking for myself, but, because I was thinking for myself my mother started hiring people to physically attack me, then she would show up at the hospital and pretend that she knew nothing about anything. I was constantly being told that I was just a bad person, that I just have energy about myself that makes people react violently towards me, I was 14 when this started happening. I write this, in hopes that if someone else is going through something similar, trust yourself. Seek help from the police, or some form of government official.

This happened to us with our controlling church years ago that we escaped from. We were held in a 7 hour meeting. The leadership was taught these control tactics, used as "counseling ".

With a mental confusion I've had I feel left no choice for
I cannot wrap my mind around what's going on in our world
To be mentally healthy Maga doesn't think that children should have their breasts removed because they're confused about their gender
They couldn't believe that the pornography in the kids school
libraries would be defended
Mentally I tried to figure out why they have infringed on other people's rights by allowing the trans movement to go so far that a 34-year-old man would identify as a 15 year old girl and share the same locker rooms with them in the same swimming class
Not only allow it protect it
These are things I've all looked into because I just couldn't believe that it was going on but it is I don't think I'm crazy but I was beginning to feel that way until I took a stand for what's right and for what's wrong
