I'm from north Africa.
We do use hijri calendar, but only for religious purposes, like Ramadan and Eid.
But for everyday life/job, we use Gregorian like the rest of the world

Thank you for clearing up why the Gregorian calendar is accurate. I had questioned for a while if there was something besides a leap year, since a leap year every 4 years would still be slightly wrong because a solar year isn't exactly 365.25 days. The century leap year rule fixes this! Guess we have 20, 000 years to fix the new accuracy problem.

Talk about being trapped in a time warp! Yesterday, I went to put on my socks and I found a pair with one red sock and one green! Now just this morning, I opened my drawer and ....the SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN!
I found another pair just like the one from yesterday! It's like groundhog day! What really scares me is that I suspect my socks are disappearing into another dimension. That's right! I put two socks in the dryer and only one comes out!! I'm sure the other sock went into a time warp black hole and didn't come back!

Please, do a follow up including the Mayan Calendar. Let's remember the sh*tstorm about December 21, 2012 possibly being the end of Earth because the Mayan Calendar was resetting it epoch (1 Baktun = 5125 years). It's also mighty interesting that, while we are currently in Year 11 of the 13th Baktun, the 12th Baktun counts back to August 11, 3114 BCE.
