Some correction
1-Christian were majority in Levant and Egypt until the Abbasid decline the first time they became a minority was under the Tuluni Emirate, they faced restrictions and sometimes persecution under the Seljuk/Zengi/Ayyubi/Mamluk states that made their numbers decline

2-Christians of Maghrab were few and just represented a part of the population, but the reason why there are almost no Christians in Maghrab is because Almohdons forced the remaining Christians to convert to Islam as a respond to the Norman Crusader Invasion of North Libya and North Tunisia

Turkey had a large Christian population - about 20% in 1914 prior to WWI. This was reduced to %5 as of 1927 mainly due to ethnic violence, massacres and the world's first formal population exchange between Greece and Turkey. Now Christians constitute less than 0.5% while Muslims around 89% (including non-denominational muslims and secularists).

Thanks for the video. I’m Moroccan Berber and never understood why Judaism survived in Morocco and not Christianity. I never thought about them leaving but It does make sense given the distance to European Christendom is close. But what’s still baffling is there is no trace to their churches or tombs.
