At my office we inherited a desk from a previous owner and there was one drawer with no key that was locked, and everyone has been dying to know what's inside. Following your video I got it unlocked and have now cleaned the drawer out, leaving only a note that says "Hope was here First". I have a 1966 Security Steel Corp industrial desk that looks identical to that lock and drawer, has to be the same. Haven’t been able to “lock it” till now via your method but upside down. Fabulous my friend, now I should be able to pull out the cylinder and re-key the original lock as is. Thank you!!!!

Someone thought they were very clever and locked me out of my desk drawers. Watched this vid and 2 min later, drawers were unlocked without keys. ha ha ha. Thanks!

No pliers needed, I just unscrewed the tip of a pen, slid the paper clip in there and used the pen tip as leverage to get the bends needed for the paperclip.

welp I managed to open my drawer - it didn't completely unlock but the locking system is like a piece of metal behind which another piece of metal (attached to the lock) clicks to prevent the drawer from opening (I'm sorry if this makes no sense?? i literally don't know how else to describe it and idk if other drawer locks work the same way so I'm sorry if i just described every drawer lock ever-) but it must've moved a bit because I was able to pull it open, but the metal-attached-with-lock is still raised so yeah it didn't work completely. at least I was able to get it open tho 😂
