"You're expecting an exploding pen?"
*Literally everyone at the cinema:* Yes. Yes we are.

This scene is about as British as you can get. Dry sarcasm bordering on contempt wrapped up in mutual respect. Love it.

The way Bond says "Excuse me" as if to say "I'm waiting for someone else", and then the sigh when Q says "007". Comedy gold.

"You were expecting an exploding pen? We don't really go in for that anymore."

*Q in the next two movies:* Anyway, here's an exploding watch for you.

What I love about this is that the original films had the younger Bond irritate the older Q with his wit. Here it's almost as if the tables are turned.

Skyfall: please return the equipment in one piece.
Spectre: I believe i said bring it back in one piece, not bring back one piece.
Q is perfect casting.

Perfectly written scene. Having characters look at art and say why they see is a brilliant way to define characters.

Meeting Q in Skyfall: "Oh you gotta be kidding me"

Meeting Q in No Time To Die: "hello Q i've missed you"

I love how in that short exchange, they have instant mutual respect for each other.

This scene is British. I love the dry sarcastic banter.

I've always loved how Bond immediately sizes Q up as non-threat; merely humouring him until he mentions "007". Treating him as just a (possibly annoying) art student sharing a critique on a canvas; never more on guard than he needs to be.

If there was one thing ABSOLUTELY PERFECT about "SKYFALL", "SPECTRE", and "NO TIME" ... it was the chemistry between Craig and Whishaw as "Bond" and "Q". They were PERFECT for each other!

"Please return the equipment in one piece." Heh, Q is an optimist.

This ASMR video has insane production quality.

"Please return the equipment in one piece" is actually a very tender moment. Obviously, the 'equipment' is not the gun and the radio... he's saying, 'Look after yourself'

The best dialogue in this whole scene is,
"A bloody big ship".

Having Q played by such a young actor is genius

Bond doesn't sit on his jacket like a distinguished gentleman while young Q's jacket is all wrinkly from sitting on it. I just love that contrast.

I watched this scene after finished watching "No time to die",
I found this beautiful, and heartbreaking at the same time

"I can do more damage on my laptop, sitting in my pajamas, before my first cup of earl grey, than you can do in a year in the field"

THAT IS A SCARY MAN. DONT FUCK WITH Q.
