Bond’s character growth has been inspiring. There was a time where he would have been cocky, big headed and treated Malory with complete disrespect, but now his character is older and he recognised that his ego is not as important as the service and his position

The way Ralph Fiennes carried his suit, in such a classic fashion. Not the usual uber modern and clean cut version, but reminiscent of an older era. Almost Humphry Bogart-ish. Classic.

Really good subtle point of this scene is mallory addresses Bond as "Bond" at the beginning and then only after M says he is back active duty Mallory refers to him as "007" officially.

Ralph Fiennes proves consistently through the film but highlighted in this scene and in the shoot out towards the end he's one of the great missed Bond candidates

Amazing how Garoth M. could clearly see that Bond wasn't in his usual strength. The movie clearly shows us that he wasn't always an office man.
