I've got to say a huge thank you, I usually struggle getting my male budgie to take a bath usually its the female that does by spraying around them but today I tried this and went downstairs, when I came back up they were both splashing around taking a bath and I wanna say a huge thanks for this. It's been a long time since the male budgie has enjoyed his bath but now I'm glad I can get them both to enjoy something

That's a nice video and a good idea, but be careful not to use grass that might have insecticide, motor oil or any poisins, fleas or animal or bird poop on it.

hello Alex just so you know smooth branches will make the budgies feet feel sore. Try getting a thick stick (from the park or something) and wash is under lukewarm running water with some detergent (this will prevent scaly mites). Or you can get some thick sticks from the pet store. YOUR WELCOME
TIP: if your budgie is starting to get scaly mites, here's a some home remedies on how to cure them. Get one small teaspoon of salt and put it into a shallow plate or dish. Get lukewarm water and pour it onto the salt. Get a cotton bud and soak them into the salt water. Gently rub the infected area with the soaked cotton swab. Or you can soak the budgies feet into the salt water. Do this everynight and you will see the difference in a month(i think so...?) YOUR WELCOME!!!
