I don't have a budgie but I think they are precious and smart.
I have an 11 year old Cockatiel and I love her and she does say a few words.
She has laid eggs and she is DNA sexed, so I know she's not a male.
Talking or not, birds should be loved and appreciated for the loyal, social, fun and loving little pets/ family members that they are. 💕
