How to Make Your Bird Eat Fruits & Vegetables

Hello Buddies,
Make sure to wash any veggies or fruits before providing them to your bird! Birds can get poisoned if the vegetables are not being washed properly.
Provide only fresh veggies and fruits as bacteria increases within time and they can cause infections or other illnesses.
Before providing any fruit or vegetable, double check that it is safe for your bird.

Hi! I watched this video a few weeks ago and I had to come back to update. I mixed diced fruit and vegetables with my budgie’s seed, within 2 days they were choosing the vegetable mix over their millet spray. I’m mixing apples, walnuts and baby greens. Thank you!

Last budgie i had lived for 15 years, was on his own from the start. Never had pellets, never had any fruits or vegetables. Just seeds and plenty of sticks which people say is very unhealthy . I guess he was lucky.

I have already tried, spinach, apples, grapes, and strawberries. Today we bought some carrots and broccoli and are hoping our birds like it! ( although they did eat I little bit of grapes so I can always go back to those if I have to.😂🍇

Hi!! I love your budgie vids one of my American parakeets loved it thank you for your technique, btw after i saw skippy having fun in wet veggies, i tried it and my budgie bluey immediately started to splash in it! ( this was useful cuz bluey doesnt like bathing )

I have been feeding my birds seeds and millets only, I thought that’s what they would eat, turns out I was wrong and they need to eat pellets and fruits and vegetables. I took my bird to the vet yesterday and turns out he has a big liver that covers his heart and is in risk of heart disease and needs medication due to very high cholesterol, you can imagine the bill, I’m not concerned about that too much just concerned at how I didn’t know about this before and now my bird has to suffer. He now has to take Lipitor.
