Hello Buddies,
When I got my first #budgie almost 5 years ago, I tried looking up videos on how to tame it and I remember that every video I entered was very long and not always covering everything.
So, I decided to learn from my experience and help you guys tame your budgie in the easiest way just by watching a three minute video!
Good luck :)

Some of our budgies are semi trained because I was training them together, but it's true that it's very hard to train them when they're together. It takes months and I've only been able to gain some trust. They usually end up pushing each other away or they just talk to each other and ignore me 😂

Two of them do hop on my finger/hand when I extend it to them 😍 One of the females will come straight away when she sees a millet spray. The other female always keeps a safe distance 😋 Although she did hop on my husband's finger once when she couldn't find the cage and she accepted our help 😍

I think it's possible to train them when they are together, but of course you cannot expect the same results as in this video. It takes all the time and patience and perseverance you can find ⌚💪😋

It's been 3 months now. I have four of them. They eat, sleep and play within themselves. So when would they be ready.

Back when I used to breed budgie I had this wonderful pair that would give me extremely vibrant colored offspring, I even got a pied budgie once. One day I stuck my hand in the nest to check for any I hatched egged and the female bit me and drew blood. I hadn’t even finished taking out my hand when the male flew in squawking and pecked the female a few times. Ever since they female would fly out while I check and then flew in. He eventually passed away due to old age, but I remember seeing that he had a smile😢 rip pancho you’ll never be forgotten

Here's a tip: if your budgie wont step on your finger and you need to get it somewhere, you can use a wooden spoon handle or something, because it gives some distance between you and the bird

I saw this video more than a year ago thinking I wouldn't be able to tame my TWO budgies in one cage, I didn't want to separate them since they were so dependent on each other so I didn't, eventually I succeeded on taming TWO budgies in ONE cage! :)

I've had one of my budgies for about 2 or 3 years, and the other one 1 year. we haven't trained them at all that much we only feed them millet treats with our hands sometimes. so I was thinking it's too late to train them. but maybe it's not! (btw I wrote this comment before I watched the video)

Btw guys dont grab ur budgie the way this guy did in the thumbnail unless it trusts u a lot and is also comfortable being held. I'm pretty sure Neo was tamed pretty nicely and it liked this guy and was comfortable being held in hands👍
