Turns out “male privilege” isn’t that great after all

A man punching another man, what else is new.

The fact that the person is trans is irrelevant. It was excessive what happened.

If you have to go on admin leave, summer is never a bad time for a surprise paid vacation!

Don’t get out of your car when being stopped, don’t resist when deputy gets concerned and put you in a control hold to stay safe, then don’t pull away and actively resist. What happened had nothing to do with him being trans or having an air freshener. It was about him behaving poorly.

The real crime is if you are in or by that 7/11 and you don't get yourself a asada burrito with green sauce from the Burrito Track next door you should be put in jail.

What ever happened to just citing a person with a ticket for the air freshener and sending them on their way?

I don’t understand how in every situation ppl say violence isn’t the answer, but EVERY TIME the police get violent when they could’ve handled things differently, you guys always figure out how to justify them..

It was all over an air freshener and being flipped off. As a former cop this wasn't handled well. I would've had my lights on for starters. Resisting arrest isn't responding with no you didn't. There wasn't a struggle until the cop body slammed and punched the suspect. People in the comments should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm confused. Why was he stopped? You can't have anything dangling on your rearview mirror in LA? Weird.

Why do I give a flip that it's a gender-confused individual? How is that relevant at all? Are you trying to make this seem like a hate crime against deviants?

He was resisting arrest, news flash dont resist

Resisting probably made it worse but that was pretty excessive force. That cop was acting on feelings because he got flipped off.

Brock is not a teacher as reported by the LA Times. Brock is an activist that instigates.
