They should have added a code for that and be like "pit crews go out as soon as the car enter the pit lane"

And not "pit crew go out when the car is near enough"

It's the game having difficulties reading and executing the penalty you have. It assumes you are taking your DT, but then later corrects it into a pitstop because you arent allowed to do the DT under safety car. Have had this happen multiple times before

I'm playing F1 RN, and this glitch have just happen to me, and the funny thing is that my mechanics did a 1.8s pit stop 😂

Without watching the video: when one of the first pit boxes, you have to wait for the mechanics to walk in, one of the last, a regular pitstop

Turns out the pitstop rule wasn't enough to slow them down

you had a 5 sec penalty which you couldnt see cus u also had a drive through, but you cant serve drive throughs under sc or vsc
