That was closer than I thought. Getting those couple vollies off as the Bloodletters closed the gap definitely helped. Along with the guys in back able to still fire their pistols.

This shows that positioning and moving your units correctly can be completely game changing.
During the last third of the fight, Kossars were overwhelmed at both sides by multiple models, while the center of the formation stood still, resulting in like 3 or 4 Bloodletters attacking a single Kossar at the edges of their formation.
I'm pretty sure that Kossars would have won with a repositioning to put up a more even fight.

Did you put the AK on guard mode? Guard mode greatly impairs melee fighting and positioning

They can still shoot, when in melee? They whould have won, if both formation had the same width, or rather if the Armoured Kossars had more width.
