I think a lot of people forget in these matchups against bloodletters, they are basically unarmoured and no block chance, so yea they punch up vs elite infantry but but some peasant archers onto em and RIP 1200 gold pretty fast.

This was absolutely unsurprising, this is a perfectly ideal match-up for the bloodletters. For the Swordmasters the AP you pay for it completely wasted against unarmoured demons, however the armour you pay for it bypassed by the bloodletter's AP. On the other hand, the bloodletters benefits from their AP and their physical resist is working wonders against the swordmasters' physical attacks.

Simply put, the bloodletters are receiving their full value's worth while the swordmasters have a lot of their budget mitigated.

Despite swordmaster costing more, this was exactly the outcome I was expecting. They are an ideal target for bloodletters

Well swordmasters are shielded and have more armour so they are generally better to hold the line, and that has some extra value.

I hate using demons in campaign over mortals, because your mortal units most likely just run away when low on health or can pull them out safely, but demons just get deleted. Plus introduce archers in the mix and they are dead meat.

High elven infantry is a joke. As well as cavalry. But if u meet sisters, dragons under arch mage command... Ull know.

Interesting. In the tabletop Swordmasters wipe the floor with any Daemon infantry
