Fibre has nothing to do with improving regularity, it just creates a larger bolus of food which will make stools more difficult to excrete. They are not an essential nutrient I should add. vitamin D immune system foremost, much before vitamin C in that regard. Also, sodium is just as crucial for hydration, if not more so than water funnily enough. Regards
