A key point he demonstrates but does not mention is on the DB press, the weights go all the way down to his shoulders for a full stretch. Most guys I see in the gym ego lift by barely bringing the DBs down their foreheads.
If hypertrophy is the goal, lower the weight a bit and create a full stretch.

in my opinion the elevated pike press is superior to the overhead dumbbell press only when done with full rom. The only hard part is maintaining strict form

I've never been a fan of the pike push-ups or any handstand/press variation. It just feels uncomfortable for my breathing, and I don't see myself doing anything functional in this inverted position. 😅

But that's just me. It's still a cool and powerful calisthenics move to do.

why even do ohp in the first place when all pushing and pulling movements sufficiently train the front and rear delts, whereas the side delt is often under trained
