I worked at Hasselback Hotel, where this potato originates from.

You don't need to boil them, they'll open naturally this was.

Put them in the oven with a fair amount of butter, garlic, thyme and rosemarin, salt and pepper at around 160 °c, and pour over the potatoes every 10-15 minutes.

Depends on the size of the potato, an average one should take about 45 minutes.

As a Swede i can tell you this is bloody brilliant, the only thing you might consider doing, in Sweden where this originates from is to add some breadcrumbs to the top just to get even more crunch.

In an alternate universe, there’s a fridge teaching other fridges how to cook at home, and at the end of each of its videos, it beats the ever loving crap out of the same bald guy.

Your channel is one of the only cooking one I watch where I actually save the short to try the recipe later! Not a great cook and super lazy, if there are too many ingredients I’m totally out 😂 But a lot of your stuff seems actually doable, love it! Totally trying this!

Mini hasselbacks are great as well, just just baby potatoes, parboil and then slice as Sonny showed, then in the oven for maybe half an hour 👌🏼 very cute very textured potatoes

Absolute genius true story: made myself a nice big cup of coffee and sat at kitchen table. Watched this short, ignoring the coffee, had a good chuckle, thinking "yeah I'm no genius but I might be doing OK in the brains department... hmmm I wonder how much coffee I have left (of the cup I had not even sipped)..." tilted the cup to look and dumped a bunch of coffee on myself and the table. 😂 These potatoes better be good! 😂

You should look into PHs effects on maillard reaction. Its really interesting stuff. If you wanted them to be more crispy, instead of vinegar use a little bit of baking soda. Higher PH means more browning 👍

So much delicious goodness can be made if you spend a little time, yum.

It's the butter. The amount of it. The infused aromas. Serve it with old shoes and they'll be great.

Boiling the potatoes in vinegar water turns the potatoes rubbery. This keeps them from breaking apart when they’re fried and instead makes them crispier. I do the same thing when I make my Belgian fries. They turn out beautifully every time

In 10 years they’re gonna make creepy true crime videos about the life of that fridge
