In the before times my friends and I would order crispy potatoes as an appetizer from a restaurant here in Buffalo, so 10/10 support for baby potato appetizer! 😂

A friend of mine introduced me to Sam's channel a few years ago, at a time when I was pretty burned out on cooking. The first few episodes I watched were pretty straight forward, but the more I went down the rabbit hole I quickly learned that Sam is a man after my own heart. From not eating the same thing all the time to transforming leftovers in interesting ways. I've not missed an episode in over three years now and I have recreated his recipes multiple times, often putting my own spin on things. I now love to cook again and have even gotten into smoking meats because seeing Sam cook outside looked so enjoyable!

Longtime restaurant employee here. These are definitely acceptable as an appetizer. I can’t believe Sam didn’t mention poutine in his argument. Max is accurate with potatoes most commonly being a side to a lot of beef entrees. I think vegetarians would gladly make a meal of these.

Let me tell you how I spend every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
I work 10 hours a day at a factory. Labor intensive stuff.
I get home, shower, grab a cold beer and instantly put your streams on. It's my way of taking a deep breath, getting a few laughs and usually learn some new technique or recipe that I didn't know.
You Max and Chance keep doing what you do.

The Evo grill is the absolute coolest kitchen item ever. It's like a huge cast-iron pan. I never heard of it until I found Sam's channel. I definitely need to get one at some point. It looks so satisfying to use.
