A refreshing change from the Mediterranean and Caribbean sailing channels, no bacardi and bikinis here, no bulls--t, just sailing. Fair winds.

Thank you so much for sharing this! My family lived in Baltasound for 300-ish years (well before my time!) but this was the first video I’ve seen of it! I’d only seen a few photos previously. Maybe one day I’ll sail up there myself to see it with my own eyes??

I’ve been enjoying this series of videos and hope that you get to realize your Greenland dream. Thanks again for sharing your adventures!

How can you not enjoy Erik's adventures & admire his spirit? A true Viking.

Magnificent. There's no-one, on any sailing channel, indeed any other channel at all, who is posting anything that quite hits home with me the way your stuff does, fellah ... long may it continue. I sit here, late at night, and I have tears of joy watching your journeys - you are the living embodiment of Hope. Keep on keeping on, my Viking friend. Much brotherly love to you, and to Silje too of course.

Your sailboat is the most well-prepared single-handed sv that I've seen on any Youtube channel. Seriously impressive! Wishing you nothing but smooth seas and a great voyage. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with us - it's truly inspiring to follow along.

Came back from work, open YouTube and saw the notification:
- HELL YEAH!
- WTF WAS THAT?!?! - Said my wife, startled.
- Erik is back!
- Who’s Erik?
- What?! Can’t hear ya!

I’m happy to see you back. So excited for this series!

As a Scot it pleased me greatly to see our national flag being waved to welcome your arrival on Unst.

Looks like a beautiful sunset. Nothing like being on the ocean enjoying the fresh air and taking in all the beauty

In addition to being a skilled sailor, you have also become a very accomplished film maker and storyteller.

I think that you have the best prepared and equipped little yacht out there. Especially a vintage yacht like Tessie. Your videos are so well done. When they come out I drop everything to watch them. Especially this trip. FWandFS

Beautifully shot and edited. Really puts the bug in me to get out on the ocean. Thanks for the armchair adventure!

OMG, Yes! Love the reefing carabiners! Didn’t think to simply tape a carabiner to the original hook. Totally doing this in the spring.
