In the 1930s, you founded Alcoa, a major aluminum manufacturer, and produced various impressive items such as tea kettles, foil, and airplane components. Aluminum fabrication poses challenges due to the fact that raw metal is not malleable enough to shape a frying pan. Its chemical processing generates hazardous compounds, including ammonia, methane, and fluoride. I'm referring to a manmade and highly dangerous fluoride chemical, not natural fluoride found in caves.
