How Good Is The Peugeot 406 Today?

Reviewing the Peugeot 406 which has been considered by many as one of the best cars to hit Nigerian roads considering the features it packs alongside a high level of reliability and how it holds up today after 2 decades after its first launch.

Correction: don't buy fake N700 oil filter. Original filter cost N3500 that's what I use for my 406 V6. Also buy original oil. Recommended oil is Total quartz 9000 not Mobil. Also for 406 V6 the timing belt can last upto 10 or more years

Exactly true...back in 2014 I bought a 406 @ 1.4
It has all the features of a luxury car.
U can get a leather touch up on the doors etc.
Iv never heard or noticed any wind noise

Secondly the tire noise depends with the tire u used.
Even a c class 2014 with a wrong tire will make noticeble noise while driving.

This is a really good review, I'm currently trying to decide between the 406 and the 407, year 2004-05, especially with the cost of maintenance and fuel economy. I used to own a 406 1999 back in the day and I loved it.

One of the best Driver Seat position ever. Interior materials also very good. Specially hood lining, wooden trim of beige interior and dashboard. Big widows.. I have both 406 Gasoline 2.0 136hp and 407 2.0 HDi . Still prefer 406. Super comfy than 406.
