Why do reviewers think that all potential buyers want to drive the car to its limits? The UK roads are not far behind the third world and I find it difficult to get from A to B without hitting numerous potholes, hence the need to drive the car with care to avoid damage or hitting other cars as you weave around on the terrible roads. The country roads are narrow and full of blind bends which tends to prevent any chance of driving your car like you were competing in a cross-country rally. The fact that this car is comfortable and cheap to run is one of the main reasons it is chosen as a family car, and let's be honest most families do not have six-foot-tall children so the back seats are not a big issue. It is an ideal car for the money it costs to run and you are not paying over the odds for servicing parts like brake pads and filters.

worst review trust a British guy to review a French car in a fair way !! this is the only bad review I have seen about this car and I have watched dozen of them from at least 5 different countries ! this car has been praised for its amazing sporty ride, its built quality, its engines and its gearbox (considered one of the best in the market)

Have to kinda disagree here. I drive a 3 Touring series and tested the 508 earlier this week, I was incredibly impressed by the value you get. My new car was going to be another 3, but for a decently equipped 3 Touring, you have a full option 508 SW GT-Line with more HP, less emission. And other stuff like Lane change warning, Lane assist, Adaptive Cruise control, Virtual Cockpit, etc standard. Seats are also rediculously comfortable..

Well, watched the review and also found the review pretty boring. I had my new Peugeot 508 GTLine delivered today and I have to say - am really pleased. Drives great, looks great and once you get your seating position sorted, feels great. First time i have experienced a heated seat and love it. Arm resting positions cool, seated position cool, interior is top class and loving the screens. Set my lighting to blue. Running in Sports mode all day, sounds and feels great. Well done Peugeot is all I can say!!!!

I am driving the 308 SW 1.6 diesel with 120hp and its a very fine diesel. Though it needs to be a little higher in the revs to really kick. Just above 2000rpm there is another boost and thats quite nice. It performs really well in the 5th gear on the motorway

There are no good reasons to buy a SUV in the UK. The SUVs are show-off vehicle as they offer less performance and cost more on services. Mazda 6 or Mondeo being precise to drive? You must be joking. Peugeot is much more dynamic and precise. Mazdas are horrible and pleasure less. Brits, you should stop rejecting the good French cars.
