Around once every ten years, Peugeot bring out a genuinely smart coupe.

Nice review - as a TT owner these are one of it’s few competitors - great looking car but I was guilty of being put off by the Peugeot badge and potential electrical gremlins further down the line. It certainly has one of the best roof lines with that curved glass.

Good review, this was my last car, I had the turbo diesel, remapped stage one, it really was so nippy and amazing. I had it for 2.5yrs, a couple of things started to really bug me personally: steering wheel too big, handling not great, but it was pretty economical and like you said a massive massive boot, I do miss it now that I've seen your review lol. Any car built in Austria is so solid.

Agreed, could be something that goes up in value. I had a brand new Peugeot 406 3.0 V6, one of the very first in the UK, stunner in its day (As was I to be honest)

I'm picking one of these up (a mk2 200thp) this week, and your video on it makes me feel like I've definitely made the right decision! Thanks!

Glad you've done a vid on this car. I love this thing! Been considering one for a while, but I've got my heart set on a roadster.

I wish we have the RCZ in the US. Looks like a fun car to drive on a curvy road.

Mines running 218bhp stock it has adaptive mapping so thrash it it gets quicker, and we did a 6.4sec to 62mph gps verified, turning traction off makes a huge difference, only the floor pan was from the 308 everything else is bespoke other than the front headlights. Its the only car i always seems to take the long way home. The fact the rcz was hand assembled in austria mines 10 this year and no rattles no squeaks and love it. With a couple of mods uprated bushes all round and a rear chassis brace and it transformed the car. Today i dont really know what id ever replace it with. It has a character thats for sure

Have always liked the RCZ but never seen or read a review. Glad that it has gone down well!

I had an 83 505 turbo diesel. I had it the longest of any car, 11 years, and it was a very good car.
I remember when these came out. Doesn't seem that long ago. Better looking than the TT.

Yea I’m with you Matt on the Pug front - its very rare I’ll actually like one, always liked the look of this though since it came out, another one that intrigues me is the 308GTi for some reason (but the faster one!)

Arrrrgggghhhh Matt, you’ve done it again! Now I’m thinking to myself, shall I buy one? You do this to me with every car you review - at the end I’m in a trance and have convinced myself I need that car. I think it’s your voice. Going for a lie down now...

Not a fan of french cars either, always just bizarre for no logical reason, but love the RCZ! Great content as per!

It's a nice looking wee car, but it just reminds of an Audi TT that Superman has picked up and just squashed it from front to back (or back to front, I've no real preference)

I’ve always liked the idea of this car but this is the only review that gets beyond snobbery. Most ‘journalists’ focused on the fact it was a Peugeot and a bit slow. Great honest review Matt!

As the previous owner of a Citroen saxo, Peugeot 206 quicksilver, two 307's and a 208 I can honestly say I've never serviced one of them, because they break down so often what's the point not one of them ever made it to 60, 000 miles, if your broke and need a cheap A 2 B car Peugeot is great just don't expect it to last.

Last century my brother had a 309 gti that was awesome and loved to rev and was light then some other peugeot with mi16 on the badge that was good as well then they went down hill after that.
