I used to do this to my controller and over time it bent the inside piece and now when there is batteries in I can press down on the trigger, well I can but it gets stuck, if you do do this then please make sure not to bend a lot, or you’re controller will be busted

This happens sometimes on periodically so when that happens I say just give you Xbox a couple resting days and then you should be good for a month hopefully, but if it still happens just Buy a newer xbox
