If you have to reset your Xbox console, at that point upgrade the HDD. It's a tall tale for eventual HDD failure. The HDD is so fragmented, it takes longer to read and find files.

Hit the blue ray if you got an Xbox with disc insert. And then do persistent storage and clear. Doesn’t hurt anything and makes it noticeably faster. Have to do it every 3 days but it only takes 15 seconds

Bro I need help my Xbox one is extremely slow I've done everything even factory reset didn't work if I attempt to open the Xbox menu by pressing the Xbox button on my controller it'll open the menu and then freeze then I'm still able to close it but if I try to open it again it'll open how I last closed it and it stays frozen and I can only install one game if I dare to install another it'll get stuck downloading and I can't cancel the installment even restarting takes a extremely long time

That’s like telling somone who has a pc to just wipe there hard drive because windows took a little bit to load. This is like a last resort. Your better off turning off all the way and unplugging like overnight and then turning it back on as that will clear the cached files
