Just found your channel through Media Death Cult and the Science Fiction Alliance…I have been a subscriber to all of the other members for at least over or around a year and wanted to check out your channel…I have started going through your archive of videos and I am enjoying the content and your format…So I started at the beginning with this video and liked seeing your choices some of my favorites right out of the gate such as Alastair Reynolds, Vernor Vinge and my number one SF book and series in Hyperion…A lot of excellent choices and most I have read but not all…I am intrigued by the book Calculating God by Robert Sawyer…I never heard of the author or this book but it’s a premise in SF that I do enjoy and I have added it to my TBR which is now challenging K2 mountain 😂…I am so glad that I found your channel and became an instant fan and subscriber…I plan on going through the rest of your archives and look forward to watching your new videos…Keep up the good works…😊👍🏻

"The Constant Rabbit" by Jasper Fforde is a great book ! It is about the sudden transformation of a group of Rabbits into intelligent Beatrix Potter type creatures, who still have many of the tendencies of natural rabbits. Brilliant novel. THANK YOU!!

Great round-up... I really enjoyed reading Consider Phlebas; YMMV, but generally I think it's only considered "bad" relative to the other books.

Tigana is one of those rare fantasy novels that bears comparison with Tolkein, and is beautifully written. In contrast, I didn’t like House of Suns I’m afraid. Although I realise that puts me in the minority. Shades of grey is quirky and unique.
