Not me needing the comparison between nail polish and relationships to realize it’s time to let go. I teared up. This was exactly what I needed to hear. And while I’m at it, I’ll throw away the bag of crusty, completely dried up, old nails polishes I’ve been hoarding for the past 15 years. Thank you

Also if you have some polishes that you just don't want or use anymore, combine some to make a mystery polish. It's a good alternative if you don't want to throw the bottle away!

Literally the metaphor for my emotionally abusive ex. I tried so much to keep that relationship alive and in the end I just couldn’t keep pretending anymore. He was never emotionally abusive to start with but once he did and other things kept happening like hiding things from me, it just became something to throw away

Can you do a video on how to responsibly dispose of nail polish bottles? Glass is recyclable, for example, but only if clean. At the same time, cleaning all left over polish requires a lot of thinner… then there are the plastic bits…

Some polishes can last a really really long time though. Older OPI formulas lasted years and years, dunno about newer formulas, stopped buying OPI cause she thin now ):

This is very true and tbh I e held on to some polished for like over ten years but I didn’t have any similar colors. Until now! I’ve been able to replace so many old bottles with nearly identical or way more fun and pretty polished with Holo Taco!! I missed painting my nails but this has reawakened my love for it!
