Etsy has been known to suspend new Etsy shops right after they are opened. If this happens to you here are the steps to get your shop unsuspended.

Etsy's customer service is basically non existent for sellers....
This happened to me because I selected "business-selling for profit" instead of "individual-selling for hobby" when setting up my shop. Apparently since I am a sole proprietor registered with my state doing buisness under a trade name, I was supposed to know to select individual...
Immediately suspended, and I immediately corrected. 24 hours later no change to suspension. Opened a support ticket to which it took 4 days to receive a automated reply (mind they are a claimed 24/7 service, even located in same timezone as I am) stating there is no time frame on when they will review and verify my info... Still to this day they have not responded or verified the change from business to individual...

I did an appeal and they said they won't revoke their decision and in fact, they suspended it permanently lol they won't give me a reason

I just recently made one today . Was all good . Couple hours later i got a notification saying I had an order, go to log in, its inccorrct password. But it not. Than my acckunt was suspended?

Etsy deleted my 3 shops! My clients are waiting for their orders, and Etsy got my pending income! Etsy is a scam! I have paid their NEW One Time Set Up fee. I gave all my effort to deliver their orders. then poof! Gone!

Hello mam, I am from Pakistan and Etsy doesn't allow us to sell but my uncle have made an account in USA and provide me login details and I use VPS to Operate the shop. But Just after 8 days my shop got suspended, even though I didn't even listed a single product on it, just changed the name of store. I have filed the case just as explained in the video but my appeal got rejected and I receive email saying that your shop has been suspended and good luck for future endeavors. Please help me what should i do now?

Nope. Etsy nuked all of my accounts for no reason at all. I never sold or even listed anything for sale. I was just figuring out how to brand my shop and post items when I was nuked from orbit for no reason and my appeal was denied with no explanation. Etsy is 100% trash. I will tell everyone to never even bother with them. Hopefully a competitor that values sellers opens and destroys Etsy completely. Etsy needs to be the next Myspace.

Just some words of hope for anyone who had their shop spontaneously deactivated by Etsy- my brand new shop was shut down in January with no warning or reason.
After reaching out to Etsy multiple times and multiple ways without getting a response gigwhiz was able to get my shop re-activated. If your shop was deactivated for no reason at all...pay to get reactivated.
