Pokémon ORAS - DexNav guide - Shiny Trapinch

In this video I'll show you how to chain Trapinch. It's not easy but if you really want a shiny Trapinch this is probably the way to go!

NOTE: Chains do not matter for shiny chances. All encounters have the same shiny chance so breaking your chain is not an issue. Chaining simply allows you to have encounters more quickly but is not absolutely necessary to find shinies.

It is baffling to me that I can't find anyone but you talking about hiding and approach patterns for Pokemon during Dexnav chaining. Everyone speculates about everything else but nobody seems to have sat down and simply observed the mechanics of hiding Pokemon except for you. I'm so thankful you made these videos; I remember seeing many tutorials that broke down the PokeRadar in DPPt over a decade ago but it seems that there's nobody willing to do that for the DexNav but you. Again, thank you for saving me hours of hopping on my Acro Bike.

It's been a week I'm looking for a shiny trapinch using the Dexnav... I should be around 1100 encounters but nothing. I don't even try to make a chain anymore, I just encounter as much trapinch as I can xD
Anyways, great job, I'm going to try a chain again, following your advice ^^
