Dude, I cannot thank you enough for making this! Within the past week and a half, I used the traditional shiny method for trying to find my Zangoose, but it didn't get me anywhere. But with this method, I found my shiny Zangoose within TWENTY MINUTES. THANK YOU. Thanks to you, I have my favorite Pokemon in its shiny form and it's my number one Pokemon! chain doesnt matter in regards of shiny pokemon, using the dexav at all gives you a boosted rate to find shiny pokemon. chaining does let them have higher ivs/egg moves/ abilities etc

i remember my first shiny, it was a lairon, it used roar and i stopped breathing, but i had loudred on the field and soundproof blocked it. it's a shame i lost my ds with the game tho ):

Yo just a heads up people need to address one minor thing there is one other thing that can break a chain and is complete BS if a Pokemon has an ability like teleport for example Abra and ralts and they use teleport that breaks the chain no one else is specified it in a video so I figured I would drop that information here

Tried dexnavving for 2 days straight and zilch, on the 3rd day I tried and BOOM shiny zigzagoon first time. Thanks for the help man.

I know people say the chain doesn’t matter, it’s actually pretty helpful to KO the Pokémon rather than run because while chaining, whenever you press the search button, Pokémon will ALWAYS appear. So hunts will be much faster.

NPCs that move around in the grass can also break your chain, so pick somewhere there are no one else who can break it for you!

My life's first Shiny encounter was a Shiny Drapion in Pokemon X
It's was a random encounter when I was training and it was higher leveled than all my Pokemons 😱
