The vegan world had me convinced that I needed only 50 grams of plant-based protein per day, but I learned the hard way that my 53-year-old, 115-lb body needs at least 80 grams of quality, absorbable protein per day! Once I added more protein into my diet, including some grass-fed, pasture-raised animal products, my hair stopped excessively shedding!
