The editing team of this show deserves an award, if not several.

Even a native born Chinese myself, Bourdain hit the right notes about the complications society of China. Tony has leaves us too soon and sadly missed with all the respect.

Making my way through the recently uploaded “No reservations” and “Parts unknown” videos struggling dearly to space them out to enjoy over time, I can only hope Anthony knew the comfort his wisdom and experience brought to those looking for escapism through the content he and his team produced

I love him, and I miss him. Hard to find someone who thinks so deeply and broadly, while still so human and connected to other people.

Never met him but certainly miss him. To think there will never be another new episode. I enjoyed travelling and eating with you Tony, if only through the medium of television.

The filming and editing in this episode is phenomenal! I love that bourdain picks out as much as he can from everyone, talking about such varried topics with much interest and openness. Rest in Peace.

Been living in SH for 4 years and until now it felt like I haven’t scratched the surface about everything around here. It’s massive, fast paced, ancient and constantly changing.

Nobody does it better than Anthony Bourdain. And there is no better way to understand China.

If only food travel host can take a clue from Tony, his humbleness which speaks a lot for his intelligence

This series should have been shot into space on the voyager probes with the golden record. Tony the ethnographer, the anthropologist, the documentarian, the chef.

I love how the color grading and the cinematography feels very much like a Wong Kar Wai film.

Sir Anthony's docus are gems, served on plates of insights, mystery, rocking the crevices with bravery and humanity, season with culture, economy & politics . Something everyone wants know but a "touch me not thing" .
R.I.P. Sir Anthony .

This episode is brilliant. Between the writing and the shots, it is amazing.

I miss Anthony Bourdain. What a deeply insightful man, travelling and seeking the best local cuisine, sitting down and having very brilliant conversations. Wonder what was haunting him that led to his suicide . RIP
