The Hunter 350 has a huge advantage over its 350 companions in that its rims can take tyres like the Bridgestone S22 and Michelin Road 6. With such premium rubber and such low power you can have a little workhorse that's essentially glued to the road surface. The Meteor and Classic unfortunately get stuck with "classic" style tyres and some weird dual sport options.

Started on a Rebel 300 ABS last year, moved to a CB650R after about 8 months of riding. But the 300 was awesome to learn on

I got the Hunter 350, was out the door for 5300, and I love it. The clutch is super forgiving to a new rider like me, but it's VERY slow.

Here, in Mexico, I ride a 2021 Bajaj Dominar 400. Now, I've just had two other bikes (a Chinese 250 and a 2011 V-Strom 650), but I think the Dominar 400 is pretty good for street and traveling. I like the seat height, the overall weight, and the maneuverability. The only thing I don't like about it is so much plastic.

I've had my duke 200 for a year now, it's been great for building confidence in my riding.

100 miles on my XR150L so far and I'm loving it.
Streets, dirt, rocky trails, that donkey does it all. Well, except mud and sand, but that's more due to the 50/50 dual sport tires.

Picked up a new INT 650 a couple months ago for $4999. Was discounted 1k because the dealer just got a bunch of new 2023s. I thought 5800 out the door for a new canyon red int650 was a steal!

The XR150L was sold here in India by Hero Motocorp as the Impulse from 2012-2015. It didn't sell well back then but it paved the way for the Hero Xpulse, a sub 200cc dual sport that came out in 2020. It also led to the rise of dual sport riders and adventure riders in the country.

I would go used for a first bike. Got my 2007 GS500 for $1900 and it’s been great.

Just in case anyone would like to know, the Honda XR150L in the Philippines is just around Php97, 000 that is, only around USD1, 730.
I don't know why it's priced high in the US, but the Yamaha MT-03 you got is similarly priced here.

CFMoto 300NK is a nice beginner bike, I bought one for city rides, when car is not required. Good build quality, no issues at all.

Was on a 2021 rebel 300 ABS and I upgraded to the 2023 Rebel 500 ABS and I don’t regret it one bit

I wish they would adapt the regulations for driver licenses in europe.
There are so many tempting 200-300cc bikes out there, but we are limited to 125cc bikes and thus forced to upgrade to a bigger bike as fast as possible simply to get the ability to keep up with the traffic.

I mainly upgraded to the 650 class because it was intimidating to get pushed by trucks uphill. If my first bike had something around 30-40HP instead of only 15HP I would have for sure kept it a few years longer.

Yammie would love to see you do a beginner bike video for taller and bigger guys, for example myself I'm 6ft 2in weigh 275 lb, I have sat on some of these smaller bikes and they just feel like a toy to me but I'm also not stupid enough to go out and jump on a 1000cc plus leader bike

In india, apart from RE, we have TVS, Java, Yezdi, Bajaj & Ultraviolet. You should try them.

Just started looking for a new bike, and came across the channel. Great information and a no bs attitude. Coming from a custom Grom and looking at something I can take the wife and kids on cruises with.
