Thank you so much. I’ve learned so much since I started viewing your videos. I was diagnosed with CDK at 18 yrs young . I’m now 74 and in stage four. Wish I learned this precious information yrs ago. Just a great team, Doc Hasmi and Michelle.

Just like most nephrologists, mine is useless. I don't waste my time asking him anything anymore. Most of these doctors are not going to approve the things that you all recommend so I don't understand why we're being told to ask our doctors anything. The only thing I will ask my doctor to do is put a lab order in so that I'll know where I stand with my labs but I'm on my own from there.

I m in stage III(b) of CKD. My nephrologist recommended me to take CoQ10 with EHA and DHA. Having used the capsule of these supplements I felt energetic with lower bp and having good sleep. My nephrologist asked me take once a day cap for one month and then on alternate day for second month and so on.

I really appreciate both of you for helping us out with so much detail about diet. Dr. I'm, 24 years old female, stage 4 ckd patient. My hight is 5.5 feet and weight is 45 kg. Please make a video on how to stop excessive weight loss for kidney patients like me. Initially, my protein loss was 3+, but after treatment it has downgraded to 1+. But, my weight is decreasing every week. Please guide me. What can I do to help me maintain healthy weight. How to stop too much weight loss. Once again thanks for all the hard work you do for us.

Thanks Dr Hashmi and Michelle. Cannot express my gratitude enough for helping our community with sharing your knowledge to help us grapple with this ailment.
May I request that you cover the below topics, if possible:
1. Since so much is dependent on the blood work, what should we do and not do (drink plenty of water, go straight from the gym etc) before and during (learnt not to open and close your fist vigorously) the blood draw;
2. What are the more recent and relevant progress in the field of kidney health that we should be looking forward to.

Dr Hashmi and Michelle, I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your info and videos. I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 CKD and being the hypochondriac that I am, IT has been on my mind way too much. Thanks to your info I have already started transitioning to all plant based...actually driving my wife THE cook, a bit crazy. :) I'm not there yet, but heading that way. Anyway I apologize as THIS video is about CoQ10 and prior to my diagnosis, I was a supplement junky. I have been cutting back a bit as I know even as to this discussion on CoQ10, if you get advice from Dr Google, you are going to almost always get complete opposite answers on almost EVERYTHING CKD, what's good, what's not. This brings me to my slightly off topic question please. As I say I am trying to cut down on way too many supplements but one new one I JUST added recently, is for BPH. Sorry for the novel..simply would you know if Stinging Nettle which is in MANY BPH supplements is good, or bad for CKD. I saw 100% opposite "facts" on it, and I'd hate to think I may be harming my kidneys just to "maybe" help my BPH...I read it may be HELPFUL for Kidneys, and then again maybe very bad...SO much conflicting data...Thanks for your time..and all you guys do here!!

I am trying to get my brain more brilliant and more useful for accomplishing tasks. Michele apparently just said what she said without the use of a teleprompter. It demonstrated a magnificent brain ability. It was wonderful. I am going to get CoQ10 immediately and watch to see how it affects me.

I'm confused with the two types of CoQ10 types. One is much more expensive than the other. What is the difference and is it okay to take Ubiquinone form with Kidney disease?

Firstly, I want to thank you both for taking the time and putting out such wonderful videos that really help us.
Would you be able to recommend which CoQ10 brand is preferred/recommended by your practice. Many thanks

Doctors, I want to address the K2 MK7 D3 supplement. I've been dosing with 3, 000iu D3, 200 mcg twice a day of K2- mk7. In also Irish moss that has 90 of the 102 minerals available. In particular Selenium, boron, copper, zinc correlation ratio for myself. For 5 days now. In also ashwaganda for cortisol levels. Here's what is going on . The swooshing in the ears is gone, the liver spots on my hands are almost gone, in believe me there were, let's say embarrassing. Frequent Urination at night has subcited. My Vision is clear now the lumps underneath my jaw bone are almost gone. I have a SEVERE fatty liver issue. Everyone, IRISH MOSS IS PHENOMENAL, Along with the other supplements are life changing. Here's the kicker everyone apple cider vinegar 10min before taking my supplements is key . IN DO NOT DRINK ANY TAP WATER WHAT SO EVER.The Chlorine molecule destroys everything. I drink apple cider vinegar in cinnamon, AVC in green tea and honey, AVC in Concord grape .there addicting. Just saying, I'm pulling the fat off my liver like it's going out of style 😁😁

When it comes to these supplement videos is this for only dialysis patients or does it also apply to people with kidney transplant as well. My coordinator is always busy soo I try to find answers somewhere else.
