The CoQ10 study that only lasted for 60 days is hardly long enough to establish whether there may be any benefit in it's use. It would be nice to know what were they measuring over the 60 days in the assessment of any benefits or problems.

I'm a diabetic and one of the first signs of this was peripheral neuropathy, burning feet. COQ10 reversed this and I do not have a problem to this day. Still taking it.

This is the only video I’ve disagreed with from personal experience. My close family member who I lived with has Mitro Valve Prolapse (not saying who for medical privacy). This is basically when the valves of the heart don’t work properly and the blood pumps backwards. It’s obviously a very uncomfortable and distressing condition. It was happening to them multiple times a day, sometimes once an hour, and then they started taking CoQ10. Within 2 weeks there were ZERO symptoms. I went from watching a loved one clutching their heart in distress multiple times a day to seeing a perfectly healthy, happy person. They’ve been taking it for about 15 years now and the symptoms have never returned. A lot of these comments also mirror that CoQ10 has helped them with heart palpitations. I don’t know if they also have MVP but it obviously works wonders for some people with heart issues. Obviously, talk to your doctor before taking them but please don’t discount CoQ10!

I was put on 5 medications for various heart conditions so I started walking, eating right, avoiding alcohol, sleep enough, and reduced stress and now I'm off all meds. Simple formula. Don't throw things at problems, just keep it simple. Our amazing bodies have the power to make things right.

Heart disease runs in my family and I had heart palpitations issue until I started taking CoQ10 in my 20s. It's been decades and I had tried stopping, then the heart issue would return. I've been taking fish oil too but I've realized that it's not the fish oil that's helping, but CoQ10.

BS!!! studies done in the 1980's showed people dying need new hearts because theirs were enlarged took large dosages and were able to leave the hospital with their own heart no transplants. Another study showed lung tumors reduced greatly by again large dosages of coq10. I started taking it because I was diagnosed with arterial fibulation and a heart murmur. Not only did it help massively but I noticed my endurance went through roof while playing semi pro football.

I would love to hear Dr Stanfield's take on Project Blueprint. This would be stellar!

I'm 40 and started taking Ubiquinol 6 months ago. The nutrient has given me bounds of daily energy, less muscle pain, increased endurance when exercising and overall better wellbeing. The Japanese have been taking this for decades, and there are 100x more positive studies on the effect of CoQ10, compared to these selected poor studies. Interesting to see/read though.

Courtesy of a massively popular medical treatment a couple years ago, I found that a high dose of CoQ10 greatly eliminates the pain in my chest in the heart area. Two pills had no noticeable effect, but three pills do.

CoQ10 is a game changer. My physical and mental energy goes through the roof. Brain fog gone. I say possibly flawed studies.

I am diagnosed with CMT2 in 2002. In 2003 I found that it was an energyproblem in the cells, So I took Ubiquinol 100mg. I was my whole life tired. I got my life back. I am now 76 and have more energy than when I was 30. There is a lot of difference between marks. I feel the difference after about 8 days. So if anyone needs a CQ10 tester🥰

Q10 works! Big pharma data will generally react against natural supplements since well patients will not be on their drugs & so no profit in supplement recommendations.

Other studies show that women with migraines had 50% fewer attacks. I have ms and q10 helps with my fatigue.
Q10 is used as treatment for people with heart failure here in Norway…

CoQ10 is NOT an antioxidant. CoQ10 (also known as ubiquinone) can act as a reducing and also as an oxidizing agent in the body as it can both accept and lose electrons. Its role in the electron transport chain of mitochondria is based on accepting electrons from reduced electron carriers (such as NADH) and transferring them to complex III, while also donating electrons to complex I. This process involves the reduction of CoQ10 to the ubiquinol form (CoQ10H2) and its subsequent oxidation back to the ubiquinone form (CoQ10) as it shuttles electrons back and forth between the complexes. Therefore, CoQ10 plays a key role in redox reactions in the body and it is ridiculous to only call it an antioxidant. If the mitochondria are deficient in it, you'll hit a wall earlier but to say that you need to stop taking it because it dulls the benefits of exercising by lowering oxidative stress is wrong on so many levels. How about considering that you need energy to rebuild what you've just torn down through exercise and CoQ10s role in those 47 hours between 2 sessions of exercise?

I run marathons and when I was on statins 2 years ago, I started to get leg muscle pains in my glutes and hamstrings. I figured maybe age caught up to me but when I started taking COQ10, my glutes and hamstrings don’t get that sharp pain anymore. Sorry, but I disagree with your argument.

CoQ10 has been shown to impact positively in PSP patients which is a severe form of Parkinsonian that has lots of stiffness. Im convinced of its positive impact having used it on my late mother

The enzyme that statins block is in the same pathway that produces CoQ10. So, it is reasonable to assume that CoQ10 levels are lower in statin users (although there is an alternative pathway via tyrosine). This video focuses on muscle pain (which is rare) but there may be (subclinical?) deficits that occur when taking statins. -> I see no fault in using CoQ10 as a supplement for statin users.

CoQ10 100% fixes muscle pain problem from taking Statins. I learned this before medical school and put my dad on it and he immediately got fixed. Then it was confirmed again in Med school a year later to me.
