I did it and my pc would turn on then turn off and kept going and then it said CPU over temperature error

How do I fix it. My Pc is doing the same thing but won’t allow me into the Bios after displaying the overheating message. It’s says to press F1 and I press it and nothing happens.

Several of the videos I watched explain how to do it with aftermarket/custom motherboards. Thanks for explaining how to do it with a stock MB.

I kinda dropped my entire PC, and the heatsink lost contact with my CPU, so I had to remove it and reapply the thermal paste. then when I reconnected the fan, this happened
