EA App 'An error on our end caused your launch to fail'

When trying to open The Sims 2, I realised they finally forced people from Origin onto the EA App. Which has broken trying to open any of the games I have installed. After a little research, this was the easiest fix that worked for me.

The quick TLDW; Navigate to the EA App installation file, find 'EADesktop' and set it to run as Admin. (Right Click, Properties, Compatibility then tick Run as Admin)
Then do the same for the game exe file. Have it run as Admin.

This app is a mess. Whenever I play The Sims 4, it tells me that the game is “good to go and already open.” But, the .exe still hasn’t opened yet! 😅

Tried this with another game, also a bit older, all tho not S2 era, but the fix still worked. Ty so much

If what computer are you playing on and if it's a laptop and which Windows? ask beacuse sims 2.
