how is this helpful? You only tell us what to do if we have purchased songs through itunes...what about all our other songs???

Sadly it’s not helpful. Apparently they did an update recently and every song that I had on iTunes from an actual CD, not purchased online, all disappeared. I’ve been looking at tons of sites and different suggestions, including getting Apple Music again, which I didn’t want, syncing my library, and still my original music that’s been with me for a few phones now, went poof. I can do it the old fashioned way, but I was trying to find an easier way, including finding my music on iCloud, but I don’t have that under Settings & Music. So I’m going to have to get my computer back on and do this the hard & very long way. Btw I didn’t have the box checked to unload any of my music either. I found that little gem AFTER I signed back up with Apple Music.

What about songs that you didn’t purchased from iTunes, but imported from a CD? Like, I downloaded journey’s greatest hits from the CDI hand, and it seems the songs are no longer to be found. I can see it shows me that the files are not to be found, but not how to retrieve them. Can you help with this?

I went on my iPhone and it shows when I click on remedy it shows purchase a big long bar is purchased but doesn’t do anything after that click on the bar doesn’t re-download there’s no cloud there’s nothing but it does show that I purchased it I have an iPhone X
