3:56 btw this is not full Siri 2.0. It just has the new UI glowing but Siri knowledge is still as before in general use. I guess it could have some improvements to understand things better but the announced new siri is yet to come in either 18.2 or later.

Fun fact - the Safari summaries are available in iOS 18.0 and older phones like 14PM.

I did all the siri commands on 18.0 with non apple inteligence siri. this isnt siri 2.0, that is coming later, 18.1 only adds the new siri UI and some other features. im sure this was an oversight tho!

Yes, I’ve been using AI since the 18.1 beta 1 version. The writing tool is especially useful on Twitter or text messages. It helps me shorten lengthy content. The summary tool is great when browsing the web or reading articles. The Eraser tool in photos is fast and effective.

I've been using Apple AI for about a week now and didn't know of the call recording or how to use the writing tools! Great information, my only issue is that so far when I ask the AI a question its almost always not exactly what I was looking for - like every time I ask it to convert a meeting time into my timezone it just pops up with the original time and I have the settings to do this enabled for location etc. and have to put it in manually. Maybe I am asking too much lol but this would be nice to have. Either way, I am excited about apple ai, AI focus mode has been my go-to when working and I feel more productive with it.
