I'm 22 years old and my parents are shocked watching me fix my car myself. Thanks Scotty!❤

You are my favorite mechanic ever. You explain mechanical issues with such humor and simplicity. Could listen to you all day long. Just a way to say thank you Scotty! You make learning fun and for novices such as myself, it makes learning so easy to remember and understand!

1). 0:31 AT 205 reseal for rubber seal leaks. Works for transmission, engines, anything with petroleum based oil
2). 3:30 radiator/head gasket leaking coolant externally. Potential solution product.
3). 6:43 Plexus. Plastic cleaner/sealant/polish

I only noticed three things. Tell me if you guys find the other two.

AT-205 really is the best re-sealer there is. I own a parts store and sell this stuff with great feedback and customers return to use it in other machines. And it is really quick stuff.

This AT-205 reseal saved me tons Scotty! Used it to fix a seeping power steering leak, also used it to stop a seeping rear main/oil pan on a 350 Chevy!!!!

I was lucky to have a father that was an master mechanic. Not only did he teach me tips and tricks I inherited his mindset as well..I do all my own repairs except things like alignments and tires which I don't have the equipment to do. Saves a ton of cash. The aluminum seal powder is used in new cars or at least it was. Everytime I do a flush and fill I use that stuff. I also wash the engine at the car wash 2 or 3 times a year to keep everything clean. This keeps the hoses from being attacked by dirt and grime. Have 240, 000 miles on my car and I changed only the lower hose only because I needed to take it off to do a flush and fill and it was 12 years old. Also use the spring clips. They shrink and expand with the hose instead of cutting into the hose.

@Scotty Kilmer, your personality, sense of humor, the words u choose to use, the way u use ur hands to talk, ect, is exactly how my uncle Lloyd, (who has been a mechanic all my 46 yrs) acts!! Also he has always been a Toyota and Honda guy too!!! They have always been what my whole family drives! If i didnt know any better, i would say you have a brother, or your related somehow!! Lol!

My Toyota used to have delayed engagement for forward gears on a cold start(could take 30 mins before it move forward!), but after using the ATP205 reseal the issue is gone. That was almost 3 months ago, and so far the issue has not returned. I am not saying it will work for others too, but I am glad it worked for me! You saved me a lot of money on tranny repairs, Scotty. Thanks!

Hi Scotty,

Just have to bring something up on what I heard you say more than once on your channel.
"The plastic decorative cover on the top of engines are junk and useless."

I agree. Here's why.

Hot air and heat rises. My thought is that these covers help keep heat and hot air confined and close to the engine assembly, in turn hampering the cooling of the engine assembly.

Here in Wisconsin, I take my engine covers off during the summer and put them back on during the winter. In the summer, I want as mush air flow around my engine as possible. Removing these silly unvented and unlouvered covers is one way of doing that.

P.S.

Nice sign above your garage door.
