Brilliant. Will this work during Timing Belt job to remove BOTH the 1/ Crankshaft Pulley and 2/ Camshaft Pulley? Any tips for 3S-FE Toyota RAV4 2.0-L. engine (no ABS)? Thanks for great idea!

I have always used an impact to snap these pulley bolts loose. Almost always works.

The best way to do this is to drain your oil and get the engine all nice and locked up. You’ll have no issues removing that bolt I promise

It will work on some or all….hopefully all! But on a crank pulley you will need a triple claw puller and a washer to protect the inner threads from the tip.

Ok for a solid pulley, but if it's a press fit two piece pulley it might slip the two pieces

If you have a manual, just shift to any gear, holds the shaft still. If you need to rotate shaft, put it in neutral, if you have automatic, you're screwed kinda
