I drove my fully restored 94 Celica to a gas station yesterday. A guy driving a new Tacoma told me that he used to have a 97 Celica. When i told the guy that my 94 Celica had over 342, 000 miles on it, his jaw dropped and he was speechless. He said "I love your car man!" True story.

I only use windshield washer fluid made for winter. That way I never have to worry about when winter comes. Living in Ottawa Canada has its own problems to deal with in winter.

Regular -20 blue is the normal year round in New England. The Rain X orange goes to -25 and the Prestone yellow deicer goes to -27. I prefer the Prestone because the deicing agent makes a significant difference.

I use the bug version for summer then switch to the winter version after the fall. The winter version doesn’t do a great job getting rid of the bugs

I bought a bunch of "Winter" washer fluid on sale at Walmart for 25 cents each at the end of the winter. There was "Summer" fluid on the higher shelf at full price.

This is also why I always fill it up before getting the car serviced. I don't want them filling my washer tank with the el cheapo 32 degree junk that they use around here nearly year round.

One of the coolest things I found at an Auto parts store was SCENTED wiper fluid. This was in Germany, but they don’t have it in the US.

I paid the price for using the blue stuff and not emptying it out to switch to the winter fluid while driving through the mountains one year when a winter storm developed out of no where and the cheap stuff froze solid. Not fun.

I’m in the U.K. and use winter screen wash all year round I always have done I stock up on it so it lasts me all year

I live in Southern California though. It never freezes and I’ve never even seen someone sell anything but the +32 stuff.
