Look I get what the message about racism is all about, I seriously do. I am not trying to bash this TV show, nor am I calling the MCU toxic in any way.

But let's look at the facts here:

A black man was the director of SHIELD.

The aforementioned black man, after SHIELD fell was allowed to commandeer a helicarrier in Age of Ultron.

A black man is an air force colonel who is the sole US military official who has the War Machine armour, and he was at some point called the Iron patriot.".

A black man was entrusted with the falcon wings before the events of The Winter Soldier movie.

The wingman of Walker was a black man. And Walker was seriously mad at his death.

And after this speech they made a statue of Isaiah when Sam spoke to them about it.

I think it's fairly obvious that, while it's pretty obvious that the government of America used to be racist, it really isn't at the time of this TV show.

And for those of you who whine about the blood on the shield Walker got on it: grow up. How many people do you think Steve killed with that Shield? Do you even know what the word "Avenger" means? Don't act like you wouldn't be raging mad immediately after your loved one was murdered in front of you. He didn't kill some helpless innocent brainwashed victim, he killed a super-soldier serumed man who was part of a group of murderers and terrorists who could have easily gotten out of whatever restraints Walker could have put him in.Where was all the hate for Tony when he tried to murder Bucky and Steve? Don't pretend you are not biased.
