This scene had so much power, brought me to tears. A character with such little screen time but so much power, that is the power of history and culture, because you don't have to know who he is as a superhero, you just recognize the man, and the thousands of men who he represents.

Its simple things like this that make Sam worthy of being Captain America. He actually wants to do good things such as giving Isaiah closure.

Isaiah didn't have a lot of screen time but his inclusion and scenes were some of the most heartbreaking and powerful scenes I've seen. He was a true hero in the MCU.

I love that his grandson is also clearly affected by it. He’s seeing a statue of his grandfather the man who cared for him and showed him love. That’s powerful I always love when Isaiah and his grandson look at the statue together

I'm a black and brown man who watched this show... I'll never forget this moment as long as I live. A moment when black and brown people got their "flowers" because of a story told almost 2 decades prior to this show.

I never cry during marvel movies. But this scene.... It was beautiful. What Sam did was the most amazing thing I have ever seen a hero do in a marvel movie.

for years the country that he swore to protect did nothing to clear his name and give him closure and just shit on him for the good he did and along comes sam wilson the new captain america and he does everything he can to clear isiah bradley and give him the closure and recognition that he deserved just as steve rodgers had. would be an understatement to say this scene got me a little teary eyed.

Scene brings me to tears still to this day. I remember walking the museum halls with my Father who served. Him telling me everything he went through as we panned the walls. It brings back that feeling.

The look Isaiah has on his face at 0:47, Carl Lumbly nailed it in this scene with that. With out saying much he's clearly showing that Isaiah is humbled to know Sam did that and that his side of the story won't be forgotten. At the same time I would dare say that, deep down, Isaiah was also thinking to himself "Maybe I'm wrong about Sam carrying that shield."

I'm glad he's coming back for "Captain America: Brave New World", there's still more of Isaiah's story to tell. Along the same lines: it would be interesting if there was a scene were Eli Bradley tells Isaiah that he is going to join the Young Avengers.

I'm glad Carl Lumbly's going to get another chance to play Isaiah in the new Captain America movie. I don't know of any other actor with his gravitas that could have pulled it off.

We could use a Cold War era spy show about the secret super soldiers like Issaiac and Bucky. Get to know the old timers of SHIELD like Dr. Pym in their prime.

Eventually his grandson gets some super soldier serum I wonder if the MCU will do that here.
