I enjoy a strong competitive boss every now and then, but she was just ridiculously frustrating. I could barely get two hits in without her hitting me with like 10 combos and taking half my HP 😭

her patterns is really fast, whenever she hit you she will hit you triple times and I couldn’t dodge it, honestly I think la signora is more easier than ei.

And this, is when I started to take artifacts, talents, leveling up and ascending my characters seriously

And as a Baal main… it hurts

building traveller works well too, especially during that part where the raiden shogun takes away your visions, because traveller doesn’t need a vision to perform elemental attacks and his wont be locked, which will allow you to defeat Baal faster.

I LITERALLY WASNT EXPECTING TO FIGHT HER I WAS SO UNPREPARED

Edit: 2 weeks later and i finally beat her. For the first part, I recommend just using Barbara (she doesnt have to be very strong, mine only does 100 dmg lol) and attacking her while you heal yourself and your team. It might take a while, but it worked for me lol.
For the second part, i just went all out and used my strongest characters to bear her.

i thought i had no chance of beating her, im world level 5 and my artifacts are crap but i busted out my level 45 noelle and she literally saved my ass; once you get through the first phase, the second phase is significantly easier.

Im a month late but here are some tips I’d recommend

1.You should have a healer in your team(specifically Barbara)

2.Cook a lot of Sweet Madame’s, as they restore a lot of HP back if your team is on life support.

3.If it’s too hard for you, lower your world level and once you’re done with the quest, return it to the normal world lvl it was originally

4.You don’t have to defeat Baal to win, you just have to survive long enough(the 1st part is harder than the 2nd)and then the story will progress

5.I would suggest using Catalyst or Bow users as they have a good aiming range, such as Ningguang, Klee or Ganyu

6.If you’re an electro main, use artifacts that are hydro or cryo based(as they both have the best elemental reactions to electro), and do not use charged attacks or bursts since Baal is immune to electro.

As someone who doenst have a built healer/shield....this place is hell




Edit: a month after, ive done it (both before and after signora), damn it really wasnt that hard trust me, you just need to land a hit and try to avoid getting hit. Still no healer and shield tho, AND BOI WTH IS UP WITH THE LIKES? Lmao i just said i dont have a built healer and shield.

Tips from someone who passed it in 5 tries:

when trying to survive the first phase of baal i recommend thats when you use your food the most because its way harder than the rest

after you unlock your burst and ult it should become as easy as fighting any other boss

if its still difficult for you i would recommend lowering your world level and using food & defense buffs

tbh it’s best to bring a healer with you my main party was traveler xingqiu xiangling and keqing and for the first 4 tries i wasn’t able to beat it without replacing keqing with kokomi, who is level 20 meaning your healer doesn’t even have to be leveled up just has to be able to be used and heal to a decent amount
