I find it kinda odd how Robbie being genuinely creepy around his female cohorts is played up for laughs. Despite that, I found their interactions very cute. Robbie always seemed affectionate towards Cat specifically, and if he had more character development they'd be one of the best couples in the show.

Too many kids shows involve the boy wearing the girl down and ignoring her disinterest several times. And the boy is characterised as someone that can’t help it & is just geeky/awkward instead of invasive and disrespectful of someone’s boundaries. It completely sends the wrong message.

Oof, Robbie was my favorite character for a time, because of his geekiness. But I honestly didn't remember him being so creepy and white knightey.
It is kinda funny that a TV show tried to portray a white knight as one of their main cast tho.

Edit: btw I still don't dislike or hate him, but I probably wasn't aware of these kinds of people back then, or I took the behaviour for granted.
