Remember, You can hate a character but you can’t hate the person playing the character based of the character.

Ok. So some people don’t understand what I’m saying. This is what I mean:
Don’t hate an actor because of the role they played. Judging the actor based off the character is wrong, because they are different people. And one isn’t even real.

Andre is the best character: think about it - NOBODY in the show ever hates him. He's the universal wiseman

People say Tori is a bad friend but in the episode where Tori was becoming a pop star in the platinum music awards Beck was gonna kiss her but she said no
“Kissing a friends ex boyfriend I can’t do that to a friend” mind you she learned from her mistakes with Cat and even called Jade friend though all the shit she did

If I'm gonna be honest, Tori is the realistic person, Jade is the bully with a bad past, Cat is the person that is mentally unstable, Andre is the stable one, Beck is the "I'm pretty, " Robbie ruins things, Trina is an egomaniac because of neglect.

I feel like everyone dislikes Tori because she's "boring and basic". But I feel like that's the whole plot. A normal teenage girl gets out into a school full of not so normal teenagers, and she's trying to fit in.

Times Tory has taken the initiative in helping/doing good to her friends:

-Helped Jade and Beck get back together (the first time)
-Helped Robbie get Rex back from the 12 year old boy
-When she saw Sikowitz was depressed, she did all she could to make him happy again
-Brought Rex back to life to make Robbie happy
-Didn't kiss Beck after he and Jade broke up out of respect for Jade
-Helped Andre get over Jade
-Helped Jade and Cat get their revenge on Hayley and Tara (Freak the freak out)
-Helped Trina get back into Hollywood Arts
-Didn't blab Jade out after she lied about Tori hitting her in the face (Tori took the punishment selflessly)
-Kept her promise and sung with Cat at Andre, Beck and Robbie's Tinkle Aid presentation
Etc.

Bad things Tory has done:

-Spilled cheese and kissed Cat's boyfriend
-Had a Prom at the expense of Jade art project show which she worked hard on

(Tory kissing Beck doesn't count. They were acting and it didn't mean anything. Plus Jade had it coming cuz she treated Tori badly for no reason) People use these 2-3 reasons only to attack Tori's entire character. How is that fair, especially when the other characters have done just as bad or worse.

If Tory was as selfish/boring as people say she is, why do they ALWAYS go to Tory for help? It's because they know she's always willing to help and she calls the shots. She always has a plan. Tori being a selfish person is such a fake narrative created by people who haven't paid close enough attention to the show.

Finally someone who didn’t jump on a bandwagon to hate her.

Tori pulls the show together; she’s the core; hence VicTORIous. She is the main catalyst of the plots and adventures and is the main one doing actions. Instead of being a blank slate for the audience to view Hollywood Arts, she has her own flaws and quirks and actions and complicated personality. I’d say she has the most complicated and interesting personality in the show because none of us can truly figure her out. She’s not a trope or stereotype like the dumb one, the awkward one, or the goth. She isn’t the cookie-cutter perfect, sweet, kind, nice-girl teen sitcom protagonist. She’s almost like.... a real person?!?!

People wanna believe their jade or cat but in reality their tori. She’s a normal teen who was thrust into a school full of talented people and tried her best to fit in and be liked. Considering how her parents treated Trina and tori it’s surprising how normal she is.

Idk I actually like the fact that Andre and tori never date/kiss... I like it when friendships (especially opposite sex ones) stay as friendships till the end and there's no romance between them

Everyone just hates on tori coz of the bad things she did but they NEVER EVER talk about the good things she did. And everyone is talking crap about tori as if shes the only one in the show who does bad things. And the worst thing about everyone talking crap about tori with their "evidence" is literally just that small part of the the whole episode where the BIG picture is not even her own damn fault
